We just proved with the Case Modding Showdown that you can have fun modding and competing with your fellow modder from all over the world now we have to do something better for the First Anniversary of New Mod City so we came up with another awesome idea for a Competition.

First Anniversary NMC Themed Case Mod Contest
You will have to Theme-Mod a Generic Case with the colors of New Mod City (Purple and Green) you must blend NMC or New Mod City within, the only limitation is lack of imagination. You don,t need to use PC Hardware in order to enter the contest. Your Final work will be judge by Jolly-Swagman, masbuskado and Special Guest Judge (FrenkieNL). So Have Fun as Always!!!

Rules (Read Very Carefully)
- Mod a Generic PC Case
- The Project should be themed as New Mod City
- You must blend NMC or New Mod City in the theme
- Colors allowed (Purple, Green and Black)
- Cold Cathode or LEDs (Green or Purple or Both)
- Hardware (Optional)
- Fan (Optional)
- You Can NOT spend more than $99.00 US Dollars making the Project
- Before Picture must be posted
- You must have 10+ pictures including the before and final pictures
- Short video of the project (1min)
- 5 Outdoor Pictures (Park, Mall, Backyard, Garden or Roof)
- You have till Feb 20, 2010 to enter your NMC Themed Case.
- Your Project must be completed on April 16, 2010

If you don't have a Generic Case you can get one on Craigslist, eBay, Geeks.com, mercadolibre or your closet if you are masbuskado, we just found out that xtaticego has some too so you can contact him to see if you can get some.

This is a very straight forward contest so there is no need to ask silly question as "What is a Generic Case?" or "How do I fit my ATX on this generic case?"

The rules are simple and clear. If you have any question please read everything before asking any staff member.

We know that it can be done with less than $99.00 so don't go over the limit.

Here is how you will get your Points!!!

1st Anniversary NMC Themed-Mod Contest Points

- Unique Design
You will get 5 Points if you decide to go crazy with your imagination and create something really unique and personal based on the rules.

- Implementation of color combination
You will get 5 Points if you manage to combine the color scheme in a peaceful or aggressive way.

- Total Make Over
You will get 5 Points if you re-do the whole case and go beyond the possibilities.

- Organized Log
You will get 5 Points if your Worklog is Organized, rich in content and keep track of your work (date, time and money spend - The PaPang's way)

- Inexpensive but effective
You will get 5 Points if you manage to spend less than the $99.00 Budget. (Shipping doesn't count as budget money)


Bonus Point

- Helping Hand
You will get 2 Points when you stop by a fellow modder worklog and help him/her with some issues or make a recommendation. (This will be per log not per visit)

- Best outdoor Picture
You will get 10 Points for the best Outdoor picture out of your 5

- Best Short Video
You will get 10 Points for your Short Video.


Extreme Point

- Daredevil
You will get 25 Points if you can post your Worklog in 5 Modding Forums and mention that this Case Mod is for the "First Anniversary of New Mod City".

- Almost Famous
You will get 2 Points per Person in an Outdoor Group Picture. (Limit 15 People)

Competencia de Primer Aniversario. Gabinete Tematico de NMC
Tendras que modificar un gabinete con los colores de NEW MOD CITY (Morado y Verde), mezclaras NMC o New Mod City en el. La única limitación es la falta de imaginación. NO NECESITAS usar Hardware para entrar al concurso. Tu trabajo final será Juzgado por Jolly-Swagman, Masbuskado y nuestro Juez Invitado (FrenkieNL). Diviertete como siempre!!!!

Reglas (LEE CUIDADOSAMENTE)
- Modificar un Gabinete Generico
- El Tema del Proyecto sera New Mod City
- Deberas incluir NMC o New Mod City en el tema
- Colores Permitidos (Purpura, Verde, Negro)
- Catodos Frios o Leds (Verde, Purpura o ambos)
- Hardware (Opcional)
- Abanicos (Opcional)
- NO DEBERAS gastar mas de $99 dolares para la creación del proyecto
- Debes publicar una foto del "Antes" en el Worklog
- Deberas agregar mas de 10 fotos antes y después, incluyendo fotos Finales
- Video corto del proyecto (1min)
- 5 Fotos fuera de casa (Parque, Plaza, Patio, Jardin o Techo)
- TENDRAS HASTA EL 20 de Febrero 2010 para inscribir tu proyecto a la competencia.
- DEBERAS TERMINAR tu proyecto antes del 16 de Abril 2010

Si no tienes un gabinete genérico, puedes conseguir uno en Craigslist, Ebay , Geeks.com, Mercadolibre o en tu Armario si tu eres Masbuskado, hemos descubierto que Xtaticego tiene algunos, puedes ponerte en contacto con el para saber si puedes conseguir alguno.

Esta es una competencia seria, por favor no se necesita hacer preguntas simples como “Que es un gabinete genérico?” o “Como puedo poner mi fuente ATX en el gabinete?”

Competencia de 1er Aniversario. Gabinete Tematico de NMC. Los puntos

- Diseño Unico
Ganaras 5 puntos, por decidirte a hacer un diseño alocado y crear algo realmente unico y personal basados en las reglas.

- Implementacion de combinacion de colores
Ganaras 5 puntos si te arreglas para combinar el esquema en un modo Pacifico o Agresivo.

- Reconstruccion Total
Ganaras 5 puntos si rehaces completamente el gabinete mas haya de sus posibilidades.

- Registro Organizado
Ganaras 5 puntos si tu Registro esta Organizado, rico en contenido y un historial del trabajo (Fechas, Tiempos, y dinero gastado - El metodo "Papang")

- Barato pero Efectivo
Ganaras 5 puntos si te administras para gastar menos del presupuesto ($99). El envio no cuenta como dinero del presupuesto.

- Buen Samaritano
Ganaras 2 puntos por ayudar a algun compañero en su registro, ya sea por algunos detalles o para alguna recomendacion. (Esto sera por Registro y NO POR VISITA)

- La mejor Foto al Aire Libre
Tendras 10 puntos por la mejor foto al aire libre
You will get 10 Points for the best Outdoor picture out of your 5

- Mejor Video Corto
Obtendras 10 puntos por tu video corto.

Obtendras 25 puntos adicionales, SI logras postear tu Registro en 5 Foros de Modificaciones y Mencionar que es para "El primer aniversario de New Mod City".

Ganaras 2 puntos por persona en una foto al Aire libre en Grupo (Limite de 15 personas)
