Alright so I have little time and no ideas so like most of ya Im gonna wing this.

I will be using my old Dell Dimension E520. It my garage system for playing music/watchin vids while in the shop. My cousin worked at a rent to own place and this was returned as a dead system... They sent it out to get refurbed but came back as unfixable. When this happens its a free for all between staff for parts. He got the whole thing and gave it to me.

After a crapload of trouble shooting I found out that mem slot 1 was fryed along with onboard video, optical and the PSU was dead. What the heck did this person do to this thing?!?!?

So I swapped ram to different slot threw in a 8500gt, new psu and it fired up. I also replaced the stock heatsink with aftermarket 1. (just easier that way, lol)

Here it is. I used painters tape for a side panel since the original wouldnt fit with the tower heatsink.




I used a piece of MDF to attach the heatsink.




Alright well thats hows its ran for the last 6 months or so.Time to rip it apart....

Maybe he use the PC to do some BBQs jajaja
a friend of mine has that exact case and he's always asking me when I'll mod it... and I in his face... so let see what you can do and I'll show it your log to him...

I have done more to the case but havnt uploaded pics yet. My photobucket account is close to exceeding bandwith (need to upgrade to pro) so Ive been trying other hosting sites.

Nothing works as good as photobucket with the site. Im using Imageshack right now but hate all the damn popups from them. Any1 recommend anything?

You can try www.tinypic.com I was a photobucket user but my Pro account expire I still have pictures at PB but I don't use that account anymore... I believe tinypic is a better option than imageshack

jajajaja definitely that is the better use... I know you will do a much better work than those dell guys did before Dell = the masters of illusion, they do a wonderful job with the cases and then sell you a crappy system that even them can't fix if something goes wrong! jajaja...

I love Creedence Clearwater Revival. They pumped out alot of great tunes in there day but no, that has nothin to do with it. You will see what it stands for in the next update.

A shotgun has a much better effect for a DUDE ITS A DELL. I know from personal experience nice to see 30 holes on one side and total carnage on the other side of the case

At this point I still have no clue what Im doing. I figured I would get a few ideas while taking the parts out but that took less than 15mins and Im still stumped.

I need music. gotta set the dell back up on a bench.
