i am kinda lucky since i live close to that big wall of computers that xtaticego posted, so i paid a visit to the wall today and selected my case for the 1st anniversary contest and here it is.

the only thing i can actualy tell you about the case is that its a gateway, hence the name ''the gate to newmodcity''.

that's a great name... very creative Dill

and also it's a great case to modd on

the only problem is i have absolutly no idea what to do with it, i figure a window, and for sure some fans, but i dont know what else. a window and some fans are not going to cut it cause newmodcity is home to some great modders.

Thats a mighty fine case you have there.I decided to go with a old hp vectra desktop had to dig to the bottom to get it free. maybe do the same paint scheme that on that bezel just in the colors of NMC.

You should try to integrate something like this into the case:



It's an Antec Big Boy 200 mm fan, extreme cooling .

i know my case at the verry bottom too. i about knocked the whole wall over trying to get it out.

That would hurt, steel cases are going to leave a mark .

Make sure you put some Bond-O on there.

i have a few things done, as far as deconstruction goes, got the 3.5'' drive cage removed, bezel sanded how i want it, drive bay covers installed, exaust fan whole opened up. wholes marked for cable manament. i have room enough to mount a 120mm intake, plus the front bezel of this case has lots of air flow, so i will not cut a big whole in the front of the case wich means no bondo work, i will leave the bezel shape as it is, most of this mod is going to fall on my paint i think. im not planning anything spectacular, it will be simple, efficient, and sexy, i will put my time in the details this time. there will also be a window.

this is a 5.25'' drive bay cover from an old case i used my pocket knife, and a file to get the shape i wanted then used some super glue to put it into its 3.5'' home.

the way the paint and everything on this case is now, i must say its one of the ugliest cases i have ever worked with. there is more ugly on this case then a rolling stones group photo. but i hope to change that.
